Proceedings of the Scientific Meetings of the Zoological society of London. This society had members of the royal families. The society discovered a lot of new species during several expeditions and these species are described in these journals. Members could order a journal with the famous hand colored illustrations.
This present edition is completely uncut with all folds unopened, which is very unusual. This copy contains 14 plates with prints in the text. The dimensions are 160 mm by 230 mm, pp 463-700 plus list of publications. This is an unread edition with a soft cover, beautiful plates, more than 125 years old and amazingly well preserved.
