3 Framed earth-boring beetles (Geotrupes) with illustration & text

This very nice frame contains 3 earth-boring beetles (Geotrupes – from Greek ‘earth-boring’). Geotrupes is a genus of earth-boring scarab beetles in the family Geotrupidae. There are at least 30 described species in Geotrupes

The frame comes with a vintage illustration in a separate passe-partout within the frame and a scientific description of the species in French.
